Thank you for ordering an Unlimited Collection Appraisal. There is no limit on how many photos you send. You have 14 days from your order date to upload them. Your appraisal is emailed to you within 10 business days after your upload window closes, or sooner if you tell us you are finished early.

Choose whichever option below is easiest for you. Please include your order number in the folder name so we can match your photos to your order.

Before you start: what to photograph

  • Take one photo of each album, box or stock book from the outside, so we can see the whole collection.
  • Photograph every album page that has stamps on it. One page per photo is ideal.
  • Take close-ups of anything that looks old, unusual or special to you.
  • Use good light and hold the phone steady. A phone camera is fine.

Option 1: Google Drive

  1. Go to drive.google.com or open the Google Drive app and sign in.
  2. Click New, then New folder. Name it with your name and order number, for example “Smith Order 4400”.
  3. Open the folder, click New, then File upload, and select your photos. On a phone, tap the + button, then Upload.
  4. When the photos have finished uploading, go back to the folder, click Share, and type support@westcoaststamps.com.
  5. Leave the access set to Viewer and click Send.

You can keep adding photos to the same folder during your 14 days. Anything you add appears for us automatically.

Option 2: Dropbox

  1. Go to dropbox.com or open the Dropbox app and sign in.
  2. Create a new folder and name it with your name and order number, for example “Smith Order 4400”.
  3. Open the folder and upload your photos.
  4. Click Share on the folder and type support@westcoaststamps.com.
  5. Set access to Can view and click Share.

When you are done

Email support@westcoaststamps.com with your order number and a note that your photos are ready. If you finish before the 14 days are up, we start your appraisal right away. We will send you one reminder before your upload window closes.

What your appraisal includes

We value the collection as a whole, list the key stamps individually, and value bulk material by lot. Your report includes the overall condition, what a dealer would likely pay (wholesale value) and what it would likely sell for to a collector (retail value). We appraise from your photos only, so nothing is mailed to us.

Questions or trouble uploading? Email support@westcoaststamps.com and we will help.
