Depending on the types of stamps in your collection, we may advise that you use our stamp consignment services. This will allow you to get top-dollar for your collection.
What Is Stamp Consignment?
Consigning your stamp collection means that we will sell it for you on your behalf. This may be through other collectors, dealers or auctions.
If a stamp dealer is not expert in your stamps, or doesn’t have a strong resale market, they will often offer you a safe price for your collection. Therefore, they are reducing their risk by purchasing your stamps for a low enough price, that they are almost guaranteed to make a healthy profit.
If your stamps are not something we can offer you top-dollar for, consignment could be your best option, and is often a win-win for both parties. Consignment allows you to access our network of stamp collectors to get you the best price possible.
How It Works
You consign your collection to us for a determined length of time. Next, we will sell your collection through our network. The collection may be pieced out into smaller lots and sold to different collectors in order to get the most value.
We charge a commission on the total sale price, which covers our time to disperse the collection to the right buyers.
Because our commission is on the total sale price, it’s in our best interest to get you the highest prices possible for your stamps. It’s a win-win for everyone!
